What our candidates think

Becca Scales – Marketing Manager

I cannot recommend Rachel and Lemon Drizzle highly enough. After months of looking for my next role, Rachel found me the perfect role. She supported me every step of the way through the recruitment process to ensure I had a lot of very helpful insight to help me prepare for my interview. She was extremely communicative and knew exactly what my new employer wanted, and found me the perfect fit both personally and professionally so I couldn't be happier. It was the smoothest recruitment process I have ever had - Rachel is so personally lovely and helpful, and kept me reassured throughout the process and knows her stuff. Highly recommend her and very grateful - thanks again Rachel and Lemon Drizzle! 🙂

Jackson Hassanyeh – Business Development Manager

Firstly, I would like to thank Rachel for helping me secure my new role. From minute one she was extremely accommodating and acted super efficiently from my application to completing the process and signing my contract. She is very down to earth, knowledgeable and unlike other recruiters she actually cares about your career and not just a placement. Would honestly recommend over these corporate recruiters as Rachel offers a much more tailored and relatable service!

Ian Hennebelle – Assistant Site Manager

Daniel Bulmer – Quantity Surveyor

Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to Rachel! I’m completely blown away by the service provided. I approached Rachel via LinkedIn and presented her with my circumstances and criteria for employment, we immediately arranged a Teams meeting to discuss various opportunities and have a general discussion to allow Rachel to gain a better understanding of me, my experience, aspirations and ability. Less than 24 hours from that Teams call, Rachel had arranged an interview with client who we identified to tick all the boxes, both from an employer and employee perspective. Within 2 days from that interview, I received a formal offer from my new employer, which I was ecstatic about. I genuinely can’t believe how quick Rachel managed to turn things around, and her approach is so refreshing - it has removed my stigma surrounding recruiters. Thank you, Rachel. I can’t recommend you highly enough.

James Hughes – Senior Quantity Surveyor

Rachel found me the perfect role within a matter of weeks. She was professional, efficient and clearly has a decent construction client base to tailor any construction professional's individual needs. I would highly recommend contacting Rachel whether you're hiring, or seeking that next opportunity.

Jason Flowers – Site Manager

Job hunting can be a daunting process! Enter stage right Rachel, and lemon drizzle. What a fantastic experience, through to the interview, Rachel was with me at every stage of the process. Rachel's knowledge and dedication to her clients is without question the best I've experienced. Professional, friendly and supportive from start to finish. Thank you Rachel for all your help and support.

Daniel Rowe - Senior Quantity Surveyor at Isoler Limited

Since speaking with Rachel on Wednesday afternoon and having our first introduction call, she had managed to get me an interview set up the very next day for a position that fitted exactly what I was looking for.

I am now waiting to start my new role and honestly cannot recommend Rachel enough, as it was her attention to detail and client care that really stuck out for me the most.

Luke Baker - Assistant Contracts Manager at Oakley Bespoke Ltd

Where to start with Rachel...

One day after applying for a job I thought was out of my reach, she had me an interview a couple of days afterwards! Not only that, but she made me fully understand what the job entailed and shaped my knowledge to give me the biggest advantage once I got to the interview. Once we found out I was successful, you could actually hear the happiness in her voice and the excitement for me that I had got a job I didn’t believe I was even capable of doing! What an amazing woman, and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for work.

Also, the lemon cakes are absolutely UNREAL. If she wasn’t as amazing at finding work for people, I’d tell her she needs to open her own bakery!!!!

Thank you Rachel for everything you’ve done for me.

James Hall - Commercial Director

My experience of working with Rachel was nothing but positive.

From our first interaction, Rachel took the time to fully understand not just the role I was seeking but the values and dynamics I sought to be present within any potential employer.

Rachel was both communicative and proactive in assisting my job search, not waiting for roles to appear but thinking outside the box and targeting employers of interest.

I would recommend Rachel to others without hesitation!
