Rachel Scott founded Lemon Drizzle Recruitment in 2024 after more than a decade recruiting construction professionals in the North East. She is based in County Durham, so many of the contractors she recruits for are a short drive away, and she prefers to meet hiring managers face to face to take a brief.
Durham’s construction employers range from family-run specialist subcontractors and regional main contractors to the North East divisions of national housebuilders. Many of them are competing for the same small pool of commercial and site staff.
